They say, "forgive

Without using wit"

They are not the ones

Who have lived with it.

They say to "love

And never part"

But they have never felt

This broken heart.

They say to "smile

Fill your heart with cheer"

But they weren't ones

To shed this tear.

They say, "live today

Forget the past"

But they can't feel

How memories last.

They say, "don't worry

Every things alright"

But they don't see

Behind these eyes of sight.

They say, "the past

Should be buried deep"

If they only knew

Those words come cheap.

But deep within

These guts of mine,

What has been said

I know takes time.

Each day I live

With this broken heart,

One day just maybe

A new life will start.

So God bless the ones

With advise each day,

And God help me

Exploit what they say.
